Since the age of 5, Kelly Strobel has always had a big imagination for storytelling and a passion for creating art. 20 years and countless stories and drawings later, she has written and illustrated her first children's book, Jive in the Hive. Kelly loves to write and paint while exploring her home region of the Pacific Northwest. From the bees in her garden to the fish in the lake, to her fat cat named Captain, she finds inspiration everywhere. She spends her time crafting stories that include animal characters going on adventures and learning important lessons. She hopes to inspire young readers to never stop exploring, learning, and having fun.
