1944 William C. Brown buys his first 26 college publishing accounts
1949 The William C. Brown Company purchases printing presses and becomes self-sufficient
1961 Company grows to include both guaranteed local publishing and national speculative publishing (obtaining manuscripts for publication)
1983 Mark Falb becomes President and CEO of William C. Brown Companies
1990 William C. Brown Companies named Publisher of the Year by the National Association of College Success
1993 Kendall Hunt Publishing Company (one of the William C. Brown Companies) becomes a stand-alone organization
2006 Chad Chandlee appointed President and COO of Kendall Hunt Publishing Company
2014 Kendall Hunt Publishing Company wins an Emmy for the book Physical Geology Across the American Landscape
2019 Kendall Hunt Publishing Company celebrates 75 years of excellence
2023 Innovative Ink Publishing established
