Christopher Knauer
Christopher (Chris) L. Knauer was born on December 3, 1948. He isn't a household name but is an up-and-coming emerging author who made his writing debut in 2019 with an autobiography intitled ON THE AIR. Chris was a US Army medical specialist Veteran who proudly served an 18-month tour in Fairbanks, Alaska. For forty plus years Chris was a radio disc jockey. Lifting the curtain to discover the person behind the microphone is possibly better known as Chris O'Brian. Humor always worked for him in the past, and hopefully for a newcomer author who might not have extensive qualifications, but enough natural talent to carry on his writing skill. Chris is happily married and delights in the fact that he has three wonderful adult children, and is a grandpa to twins (boy and girl). During his remarkable radio experience, Chris was privileged to have the opportunity to meet and interview many famous celebrities. For instance, Bob Hope, Air Supply, John Denver, Barry Manilow, Donnie & Marie Osmond, Barbra Mandell and others. Chris performed with a musical group that involved going coast to coast, into Canada and the countries Spain and Australia entertaining in dozens of cities and venues. He even has the distinction of writing poems that eventually became his songs. Contrary to popular belief, writing about oneself can be the hardest thing. But hopefully, he did it well enough that you'll enjoy reading his book!
