Equity Apps is an interactive workbook designed to support the development of educational leaders committed to equity, inclusion, belonging, and student-centered learning environments. Grounded in research, reflective practice, and real-world leadership experience, this resource offers practical activities, guided reflection, collaborative experiences, and application-based tools to help educators examine their leadership practices through an equity lens.
Originally developed within educational leadership credential programs, the workbook has been embedded in PASC and CASC preparation programs since 2020 and is designed for aspiring and current school leaders, instructional coaches, teachers, and higher education faculty seeking to create more inclusive and compassionate learning communities.
Through topics such as inclusive leadership, compassionate justice, trauma-informed practices, faith and inclusive pedagogy, student well-being, difficult conversations, and equity-focused collaboration, Equity Apps encourages readers to move beyond theory into meaningful action and continuous reflection.
This workbook includes facilitator support materials, experiential learning activities, reflection prompts, and practical strategies for implementation in both K-12 and higher education settings. Whether used individually, in leadership cohorts, or as part of professional development programs, Equity Apps serves as a guide for educators striving to lead with empathy, courage, and intentionality.
