Since the dawn of civilization, religion has been a source of inspiration, but also a source of great conflict and confusion. In religious discourse, people make claims all the time about the nature of the universe, who God is, what the Bible says, how God intervenes in our lives, what happens to us after we die, whether there is a Heaven and a Hell, and a host of other related issues. Confessions of a Curious Skeptic attempts to take a fresh look at these various claims and whether they can answer some very basic questions, all rooted in common sense, that might force us to re-think how we see ourselves, our world, and our core beliefs.

David Lapakko

David Lapakko is an Emeritus Associate Professor of Communication Studies at Augsburg University in Minneapolis, where he taught full-time for 38 years. His hobbies include photography, golf, attending house concerts, spending time with the grandkids, barbershop quartet singing, and, of course, writing.
