Jim sadly passed on October 30, 2023, leaving behind an unmatched and unrivaled legacy. Before his passing, we were going back and forth about a title for his book, but he wanted "legacy" to be the defining word. A legacy takes on many forms, from one's faith, ethics, and core values to one's character, reputation, and the life they lead. Jim's legacy was an amalgamation of overcoming adversity, raising resilient children, excelling as a leader, being a loving and supportive husband, and setting a positive example for others through his actions and words by being a strong figure in his community.

Jim created his legacy by showing up every minute of every day. He created it through his interaction with others and built upon it with every action he took. He was focused on what mattered and the change he wanted to make in this world. He always positively impacted the people who matter the most to him. His family, friends and many others loved him and will miss him greatly.
