The Colors of Texas encourages early learners to discover, name, and appreciate the many colors that make Texas unique. Through engaging examples of familiar Texas sights and experiences, children are introduced to colors while building their vocabulary, observation skills, and understanding of the world around them. This playful and educational book encourages children to explore, identify, and celebrate the many colors that make Texas special.

This book can be used by teachers and families as an interactive learning resource to support early childhood development, language development, science exploration, and connections to the local community. Children can extend their learning by searching for colors in their classroom, neighborhood, or natural environment and creating their own "Colors of Texas" experiences.
