Aaron Olson

Aaron T. Olson (ATO) is the co-author of two textbooks which are Multicultural Law Enforcement: Strategies for Peacekeeping in a Diverse Society, 7th edition, Pearson and Multicultural and Diversity Strategies for the Fire Service, Pearson. He is an adjunct professor teaching online courses for Eastern Oregon University and Portland Community College in which he designed the curriculum for Multiculturalism in Emergency Services and Cultural Diversity in Criminal Justice Professions. He is the managing partner of A.T. Olson Consulting, L.L.C., in which he specializes in expert opinions on police practices, human resources practices, customized training and private investigations. Mr. Olson is a retired Oregon State Police Sergeant, retired U.S. Army Reserves Commissioned Officer, and U.S. Army Veteran. In 2001 he developed the CARE Approach. In 2002 Mr. Olson received the honor of being awarded Regional Trainer of the Year by the Oregon Department of Public Safety and Training. From 2002 to 2015, he facilitated workshops to new immigrants and refugees on Police and Emergency Services at IRCO (Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization), Portland, Oregon.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Administration from Portland State University and a Master of Education from Oregon State University. Mr. Olson is of the Baby Boomer Generation.

Paige E. Olson

Page E. Olson has an extensive background in the health care professions, having been a personal care attendant, medication aide, ophthalmic technician, and currently a neuro-ophthalmic technician. She has experience being a resident assistant in student housing for college students and doing volunteer work as a patient transporter and a teaching assistant. In 2016, Ms. Olson received the President's Volunteer Service Award issued by the Corporation for National and Community Service in recognition of her volunteer service. In 2017, she received the Girl Scout Gold Award issued by Girl Scouts of Oregon and SW Washington for creating and executing a project to raise awareness while simultaneously donating and collecting menstrual products for homeless shelters and food pantries. Also in 2017, she received the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards issued by the National Association of Secondary School for her community service for extensive volunteer hours. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies from Portland State University. She is proficient in American Sign Language and is from the Z Generation.
