Call Me Eli tells the story of a person who was identified as female at birth and slowly came to understand themselves as more masculine than feminine, and ultimately as nonbinary. It is also the story of how that person overcame emotional abuse, mental health issues and addiction to become someone who was finally happy. Join Eli as they grow up loving sports and learning the importance of feminism. See how they dealt with antisemitism throughout their life but at the same time learned how important Judaism was to them. Watch them evolve from a fearful child to a confident adult who eventually becomes the person they were meant to be.
