So, you might be wondering why I am writing a cookbook that is about cooking both regular and gluten-free meals.  Why not just publish a cookbook that is purely gluten-free? My answer is because that is not how my family is when it comes to our meals, we are blended -both regular cooking and gluten-free cooking – and I love to cook and bake.

Caroline Woolf

Caroline Woolf was born in Kentwood, Michigan, moved to go to college and currently lives in Las Cruces, NM.  Graduating with her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from New Mexico State University, she stayed in the area, got married, and had a family.  She is a tenured English Professor at El Paso Community College and has been teaching there since 2004.  Her youngest daughter was diagnosed with Celiac at age 7, so she knew changes had to happen in the family diets.  Loving to cook and bake, she quickly started trying new recipes and modifying old favorites to make delicious, healthy meals and treats for her family.  This cookbook was put together from her home kitchen and dining room table in hopes it could inspire and help other blended families support their gluten free family members.
