Donna Bell

Donna Bell received her doctorate in Curriculum and Teaching from Auburn University and is an associate professor of Family and Consumer Sciences at the University of Montevallo. Sher serves as the program coordinator for the Family and Consumer Sciences program.

Laura Bloom

Laura Bloom received her doctorate in Early Childhood Education from the University of Alabama- Birmingham and is a professor of Human Development and Family Studies at the University of Montevallo. She serves as the faculty director of the Child Study Center, an N.A.E.Y.C. accredited preK program on the campus of UM. She also supervises HDFS internships and volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for Shelby County, Alabama.

Joelle Smith

Joelle Smith received her doctorate in Human Development and Family Science from the University of Missouri and is an assistant professor of Human Development and Family Studies at the University of Montevallo. She serves on the board on the Southeastern Council for Family Relations. Dr. Smith's professional interests center on the sociocultural factors which influence young adults' attitudes towards interracial romantic relationships.
